Nestor Morales, DVM
Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Dr. Morales graduated from the University of Puerto Rico at Cayey with a biology degree, then completed veterinary school at Ross University and clinical training at Auburn University, graduating in 2018. He is an active member of the AVMA and FVMA and is pursuing Fear Free certification. He has a special interest in soft tissue surgery and dentistry, and emphasizes clear client communication about treatment plans. He previously worked with Banfield and in private practice. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor activities, gardening, beach time, and road trips with his wife, three dogs, and chickens. He is fluent in Spanish.
Karen Fernandez Morales, DVM
Born and raised in Miami, Dr. Fernandez earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University, where she met Dr. Morales. She specializes in dermatology, preventive care, and soft tissue surgery, and values building lasting relationships with patients and their families. She originally planned to open the clinic solo, but became pregnant around the opening timeframe, and Dr. Morales stepped in to help realize their shared vision together. She is mother to two children and three pets, and currently provides relief veterinary services while the clinic continues to grow. She sees patients every Wednesday and fills in as needed elsewhere in the clinic.

Every visit gets a dedicated 30-minute appointment, and our fear-free certified, AAHA-accredited team works with you to explain every treatment option rather than offering an all-or-nothing plan. From our exam rooms named after our own pets to our after-hours availability through the Weave app, you and your pet are treated like family.

Thalia
An experienced veterinary nurse with a background in small animal medicine, corporate hospitals, emergency care, dentistry, and surgery, Thalia brings energy and compassion that create a welcoming atmosphere for clients and patients. She enjoys dancing, singing, eating, and traveling.
Julian
Julian brings eight years of experience as a veterinary assistant and joined the clinic in July 2025. His work with animals has motivated him to pursue veterinary school. He enjoys outdoor activities and fishing.
Victoria
A dedicated team member with a passion for animals, Victoria owns a dog named Bella and enjoys the beach and traveling. She aspires to become a veterinarian specializing in small animal, exotic, and marine species medicine.
Viviana
A recent Florida International University graduate with a Bachelor's in Psychology on an Applied Behavior Analysis track, Viviana is pursuing Board Certified Behavior Analyst credentials. Passionate about animals, she cares for her own dogs Lia, Gizmo, and Luna, and brings warmth, empathy, and excellent communication skills to the front desk.
